WHAT WE SUPPLY

RYMPLATE

Plate of 100% recycled carbon fibre with RYMFELT. Impregnation with vinylester resin, ratio fibre carbon to resin: 40% fibre – 60% resin.
Different thickness, starting from 2mm.

Possible applications:

  • light structures
  • new applications

ABOUT US

Based in a valley in the North of Italy, we have focused our R&D in the removal of epoxy resins, binders, sizing and coating from carbon fibre composite waste, and we have installed a textile plant of 500 t/year capacity suitable to transform the recycled carbon fibre into nonwoven to be used again in carbon fibre composite market, creating a circular economy.

WHAT WE SUPPLY

RYMFELT

With a textile plant of 500 t/year capacity we can supply recycled nonwoven of different weight, starting from 180 g/m2 up to 1000 g/m2 and packed in carton boxes suitable to be palletized optimizing transport logistic.

RYMFELT is suitable to be impregnated with different technologies, such as: RTM, Vacuum system infusion, Hand Lay-up, Hot-melt and SMC.

WHAT WE SUPPLY

RYMCUT

Short fibre of different length from 5mm up to 30mm suitable to be used as a filler in thermoplastic, mortar cement based, BMC.

Important studies led during 2020:
Master of Science in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology “RECYCLING OF CARBON FIBERS: FROM WAVING SCRAPS TO NONWOVEN/EPOXY COMPOSITES FOR AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY”, thesis realized by graduate Ms. Martina Azzarà, Supervisor Prof. Roberto Frassine of Politecnico of Milan, co.supervisor Mr. Davide Fossati of CIT Composite Materials Italy and Sowmya Mignani, CEO of RYMYC.
Mention as case-history in the thesis of Luca Airici “CARBON FIBRE REINFORCED POLYMERS: STATE OF THE ART OF PRODUCTION PROCESSES OF CARBON FIBRE AND RECYCLING PROCESSES OF RE.CFRC”, Dept. of Industrial Engineer at Bergamo University with Supervisor Prof. Dotti and co-supervisor Prof. Colombo.
We attended the editions from 2016 to 2019 of Jec Composite World in Paris.
We were speaker during GO CARBON FIBRE 2018 in Berlin.
We were speaker at MECSPE PARMA in 2018.
